Nothing looks or sounds or smells like a good, old-fashioned country fair--and this one is no exception. There are tall canvas tents and a whirling Ferris wheel. There are pigs and cows and horses and rabbits. Sheep are being sheared and teams of oxen are pulling massive loads. The air is alive with the mouth-watering smells of cooking food. Happy fairgoers are having a ball, and young readers will, too, in Elisha Cooper's first book for children. Get your ticket now--the fun has just begun!
