Phoebe, a true-crime-obsessed PhD candidate, who moves to her childhood home in Florida to sort through her recently deceased father's affairs. Convinced her neighbor, Sam, is a serial killer due to his "suspicious" behavior, she gradually falls for him as she learns he is a genuinely nice guy.
