If an order is cancelled, or has a problem and needs a refund, we send it to your refund bank account, usually within 2–3 working days.

Key facts

Refund goes to

Your Refund Bank Account (Profile)

Usually takes

2–3 working days after we have your correct bank details

When do I get a refund?

You get a refund when a paid order doesn't go ahead, for example:

  • The seller can't fulfil your order and cancels it.

  • Reshelf cancels the order.

  • You report a problem and it's resolved with a refund.

  • The seller doesn't accept your order within 72 hours of payment, so it's cancelled automatically.

How long does it take?

We send refunds by bank transfer. It usually takes 2–3 working days after we have your correct bank details, and your bank may need a little longer to show it.

You can follow it on your order: Refund in progress → Refund scheduled for (date) → Refund sent. We'll also notify you when it's sent.

Make sure we have your bank account

  1. Go to Profile → Basic Info.

  2. Under Refund Bank Account, tap Add Refund Information.

  3. Enter your bank, account number and the account name, then confirm.

No bank account saved? Your order shows Refund on hold until you add one. The account name must match the account, or the transfer fails and the 2–3 days start again from the corrected details.

To change a bank account you've already saved, contact support.

How much will I get back?

  • If the seller can't fulfil the order, Reshelf cancels it, or it's lost in transit: the full amount, including the platform fee.

  • If you keep the book and agree a partial refund: the agreed part of the book price.

Still waiting?

If it has been more than 3 working days since the refund was sent, contact support with your order number.
