What can and can't I sell on Reshelf?
Updated 23 October 2026 · For everyone
Reshelf is for real, second-hand books you own. List them honestly, with your own photos and a fair price, and keep every sale on Reshelf.
What can I sell?
Physical books you own and have the right to sell, in the condition you describe.
What isn't allowed?
Counterfeit, pirated or photocopied books, and anything illegal.
Things that aren't books on their own, such as stationery, toys or digital files.
Content that's obscene, hateful or encourages violence or crime.
Prices far above a book's real value, or buying books to resell at inflated prices.
Textbooks that are no longer used for current exams.
How should I list?
Use your own photos of the actual copy, never images from other shops, websites or publishers.
Answer the condition questions honestly and photograph every flaw.
Don't put social media, phone numbers or other contact details in your photos. Your Reshelf store name is fine.
List a set as a set, with quantity 1.
Keep every sale on Reshelf
Don't arrange payment or meet-ups outside Reshelf. Sales outside the platform aren't protected, and accounts that do this can be suspended.
Be a good seller
Accept or decline orders promptly, ship on time, and don't cancel orders you've accepted. Repeated cancellations can lead to a suspension.
What happens if a listing breaks the rules?
Our reviewers reject it with a reason you can fix, or remove it. Serious or repeated problems can lead to a suspended store. See Why was my store suspended?.
