What happens after I list a book?

Your listing shows Pending Approval while a reviewer checks it. When it's approved you'll get a notification and it goes live.

What do reviewers check?

  • Photos of the front and back cover. For a set, every volume's front and back cover must be visible (a group photo is fine).

  • Real photos of your copy, upright and in portrait orientation, with a photo (not a video) first.

  • The correct title, language and condition.

  • The ISBN, or "-" if the book has none.

  • For a set: listed as a set, with quantity 1.

  • No social media or contact details in the photos. Your Reshelf store name is fine.

  • A fair price, not so far above the book's real value that it counts as speculation.

My listing was rejected. What now?

  1. Open the listing in seller mode to see the reason.

  2. Press Edit, fix what's mentioned and save.

  3. It goes back for review automatically.

Will editing an approved listing send it back?

Changing the price or genre keeps it live. Other changes, such as photos, title or condition, send it back for review, and it's hidden until it's approved again.

Get approved faster: clear photos and a complete, honest description help reviewers approve your listing first time.
