How do I pause my store with vacation mode?

On your store page, open Vacation mode and schedule your time away, starting now or later. Buyers can't order from you until it ends.

How do I turn it on?

  1. Go to My Store and open Vacation mode.

  2. Choose Start now, or set a Start Date & Time, and set the End Date & Time.

  3. Pick a reason if you like, and press Schedule Vacation.

You can also turn it on while rejecting an order: tick I'm away (enable vacation mode).

What happens while I'm away?

  • Your books leave Explore and search. Buyers can still see them on your store page but can't order.

  • Buyers who check out within 72 hours before your vacation are warned that their order may be delayed.

  • You can still add, edit and delete listings. Your payouts carry on as normal.

What about orders I already have?

Vacation doesn't pause orders already placed. Accept, ship and add tracking for them as usual. Their shipping deadlines don't move, and an order you don't accept is still cancelled after 72 hours.

So before you go, accept or reject your new orders and ship the ones you've accepted.

How do I come back early?

Press End Vacation Now. Buyers can order straight away; your books return to Explore within a few minutes.

Can I change it?

  • A vacation that hasn't started can be edited or cancelled with Cancel Vacation.

  • During a vacation you can only change the end date: press Update End Date.
